We had such a lovely time in this beautiful restaurant! We had no booking and it was a friday evening but the staff was very professional and nice. We had a delicious meal for our girls weekend. Everything from the antipasti to the dessert was just so good! Prices are not cheap but it is so much worth it for such a great restaurant. I highly recommend this place for all the food lovers! This Michelin Guide restaurant is probably the one you should not miss if you are visiting La Spezia. It really serves some fine dining and exquisite Italian dishes. We had a 5 course tasting menu and a duck breast with foie gras. All the dishes served were absolutely delightful. The flavours were nicely balanced and plating was exquisite. I can totally understand why this restaurant is so highly rated in La Spezia. It's recommended to get a table reservation prior to visiting. We were so lucky to reach early and managed to get a seat for 2, but we saw a number of guests not being able to dine in due to full capacity. Pricing wise, reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. The five course tasting menu cost 65 euros and I left feeling full and satisfied. Highly recommended if you are in La Spezia.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary at this location and the food was nothing short of spectacular! We made our reservations in advance to assure ourselves seating at noon and we're very glad we did so as it filled up quite quickly. We had the pairing menu. The food was simply incredible! We learned also that the day after our anniversary they were celebrating their 20th year in business, congratulations! Thank you for making us feel welcome and for the great meal.

Found this place by chance. Walked in without a reservation wearing shorts and flip flops. Nice gentleman asked Italian, Spanish or English? Took us to the back and down some stairs and voilà … a covered courtyard with white linen and a crowd of fancy dressed people. My friend and I sat at a small table in the middle and took it all in. It was well staffed with professional wait staff, the menu was small but exceptional. No fluff. Each dish carefully curated. The wine list was massive. 100’s of varietals from around the world with a special focus on Italian fine wines. We ordered - first and second course each. The presentation was fantastic, the tastes perfect. The extra pizzazz with fancy and unique plates was a bonus. The waitstaff was attentive, which is often not the case in Italy. The timing was perfect. This isn’t a fast food joint. It’s a “take your time and enjoy” establishment. Well done! After the meal the owner came and asked if we enjoyed. The bill paid, I noticed it was very reasonably priced around $50 per person. Outstanding! On the way out the owner asked where we were from. He asked if I’d like to see his wine cellar. This is quite an honor. And here I am in shorts and flip flops, the least dressed patron. I looked around at the 100’s of bottles. I figured he was the owner so I asked. Yes, he and his wife started the joint 20 years ago. His wife is the chef. I had commented prior that I thought the chef had to be a women. Sure enough! This was an exceptional gourmand experience. I was too full to finish the plates but I sure tried. I highly recommend this fine establishment to anyone visiting La Spezia or Cinque Terre. You won’t be disappointed. Will even give you the five star gourmet experience wearing shorts and flip flops. Serious bang for the buck. I am not easily impressed, but this one was a home run.

I have to say I ate at a lot of Michael ⭐️ restaurants and this one is definitely worthy. The restaurant was super accommodating, their signature cocktails where so amazing and the bartender even shared his recipe. But the food was litteraly mouth watering. My biggest regret is not having the tasting menu! We had eaten a fair bit for the day so only had 4 dishes. The Burrata shrimp pasta is a MUST when you go but all was paired, cooked and flavoured to perfection. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Best food we’ve had in Italy (this trip). Service was excellent. Everything from pasta (pappardelle with pumpkin and Gorgonzola cream sauce with toasted hazelnuts) to the bread with olive oil, pork with mustard sauce, greens, and scalloped potatoes — and the full bodied wine was delicious. The dessert with crushed amaretti cookies and custard with semisweet chocolate was excellent. We liked it so much we booked a tasting menu —and we are looking forward to that!
